Captain Jeff
USMC veteran. Lake Michigan expert.
Some captains know fishing. Jeff knows Lake Michigan.
He first hit the water in 1988 — not as a charter guest, not as a hobbyist, but as a kid fishing alongside his dad. Back then it wasn’t a career or a business plan. It was just life. That early foundation built something that can’t be learned in a classroom: instinct, discipline, and a deep, genuine respect for the lake.
Forged by Service
In 1996, Jeff stepped away from the water to answer a different call. He served in the United States Marine Corps for over a decade, completing two combat tours before returning to Kenosha County in 2007.
That chapter didn’t just shape the man — it shaped the captain. The moment you step aboard, you’ll notice it. He’s calm under pressure. Detail-oriented. Safety is never an afterthought. Those aren’t talking points — they’re habits built through years of discipline in some of the most demanding conditions imaginable.
A Lifetime on the Water, A Business Built on Results
After settling back in Kenosha, the pull of Lake Michigan never left. By 2018, Jeff turned decades of hard-earned knowledge into a full-time charter operation — and he hasn’t looked back.
Feelin Fishy runs waters from Washington Island all the way down to Chicago. That range isn’t about covering miles — it’s about tracking patterns, dialing in bites, and staying one step ahead of the fish no matter where they are. The tournament circuit has taken notice, with consistent top-contender finishes that prove this operation is built on precision, not luck.
